Kitten Problem
I believe it is better to use the posters method because it stands out more and people can see it for example if they are going to a pet shop looking for kittens they can see that there are some for sale. radio is not very useful because then you dont see how the kitten loooks like. Tv and magazine method is also not very good because people that are reading or watching are more interested in another thing besides animals.

TV and magazine advertising wouldn't work because by the time you got it into the magazine or on the TV - the kittens would be CATS and then noone would want them - hahahaha.
Yes, I agree that posters and flyers would be the best way to proceed.
